Our client, a custom house formulator and manufacturer who produces private label color cosmetics, skin care and bath and body products and we arelooking for a Color Cosmetic Chemist.
To participate in product development from conception to completion, including the preparation of, distribution of and adherence to agreed upon timetables.
Conformance to regulatory and company policies and procedures as well as good housekeeping practices.
Promote and maintain open communication and free exchange of information with other departments, contract manufacturers and suppliers, while at all times respecting the confidentiality of proprietary information.
To develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors, including new product and technology suppliers, raw material suppliers, contract manufacturers, etc.

Job Description
Product Development/Formulation of Color Cosmetic Products
Looking for someone with 3+ years experience in the cosmetic or personal care related industries. Requires 3+ years experience in hands-on development of new formulations, process development, and establishment of specifications.
Product Development of color cosmetic products (lipsticks, powders, mascaras, and foundations) including formulation, stability testing, claim substantiation, package compatibility and color matching.
